1. Make sure servos are loose from swashplate
2. Take servotester and for each servo figure out min pwm value, max pwm value and the center position which corresponds to roughly 0 ° aoa.
3. Write those values into arduino script and run it witht the servos connected to the arduino.
4. If everything behaves well reattach the linkage arms between servo and swashplate
5. Play with the offsets of the different servos until the swashplate is well calibrated (you need to change the values in the arduino script and upload it again).
6. Once you are happy with that use the RCBenchmark Windows app to control the motors (space bar kills the program)
7. Run your tests with different swashplate configurations and make sure you log the data |
