Nach dem Master in Maschinenbau an der ETH Lausanne fokussierte ich mich auf Herausforderungen in der autonomen Logistik. Bei OneSec bin ich ein wichtiger Bestandteil in der Entwicklung einer neuen Drohne, welche spezifisch für die Auslieferung von kleinen Paketen und Mahlzeiten benutzt wird. Dabei waren sowohl mechanische und elektrische Hardware Skills als auch die Softwareentwicklungskills wichtig. Wegen der Art vom Jungunternehmen war ich in verschiedenen Bereichen involviert, neben der technischen Entwicklung beschäftigte ich mich auch mit Teamleitung und dem Rekrutieren.

|
||
Ich interessiere mich für Ingenieurwissenschaften, Medizinaltechnik und auch für Automatik und Regelungstechnik. Sprachen sind sehr wichtig für mich, da sie die Grundlage einer erfolgreichen Kommunikation zwischen verschiedenen Kulturen sind. |

Bei dem Startup OneSec spielte ich eine entscheidende Rolle in der Entwicklung autonomer Drohnentechnologie für die Lebensmittellieferung. Ich war verantwortlich für die Entwicklung der Flugsteuerungssoftware unter Verwendung eines kundenspezifischen Reglers in C++ innerhalb der PX4-Umgebung sowie für die Verwaltung der gesamten Robotik-Softwareplattform. Dies stellte eine nahtlose Integration der verschiedenen Systeme sicher. Meine Programmierarbeit, hauptsächlich in C++ und Python, umfasste den Einsatz von ROS2 und PX4 für Echtzeitanwendungen.

Ich analysierte komplexe Datensätze, darunter Fluglogs, Windkanaldaten und 6-DOF-Kraft-Moment-Sensordaten, um die Systemleistung zu optimieren und Hardwareprobleme zu beheben. Außerdem leitete ich die Entwicklung der elektrischen Hardware, einschließlich der Erfassung von Anforderungen, der Leitung des Elektronikteams, der Durchführung von Design-Reviews und der Durchführung von Hardware-Integrationstests.

At TEP Energy, I was involved in the modeling and simulation of a cogeneration plant to assess the financial viability of various future investment scenarios. The models demonstrated the impact of different economic conditions, such as fuel prices, and energy policies, like CO2 taxes, on potential investment outcomes. Additionally, in another project, I prototyped a web application to visualize energy simulations, allowing stakeholders to easily interpret and analyze the data. This role strengthened my expertise in energy systems modeling, data visualization, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

For my Master’s thesis at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, titled Velocity Error Augmentation, I developed a game-like rehabilitation exercise aimed at improving motor function in stroke patients. This was achieved by combining a 3-DOF robotic arm from Barrett Technology for haptic feedback with a custom virtual reality system developed by the lab as a visual interface. I was responsible for formulating the research hypothesis, designing the feasibility study, and developing an appropriate testing protocol. Finally, I conducted the feasibility study with healthy subjects to validate the system’s effectiveness. This project allowed me to merge cutting-edge robotics with therapeutic applications, showcasing the potential of technology to enhance rehabilitation techniques.

During my internship at ONWARD Medical, I contributed to the development of a therapist-facing application aimed at enhancing rehabilitation for paraplegic patients by controlling electrical neuromodulation to the spinal cord. I worked on the application’s development using C# within the .NET framework, ensuring it met the functional and usability needs of both patients and physiotherapists. My responsibilities included implementing features, designing user interfaces, integrating IMU sensors, conducting usability tests, and assisting with the software's certification process. This experience strengthened my skills in medical software development and gave me insights into the regulatory process for healthcare technologies.
