- vibrations—> couldnt flight
- vibrations were challenging for control and dynamics, not the visual system and the sensors
Dev Process
- simulations mostly: physical flights only to validate simulation models
JPL is an awesome place: mix between scientists and engineers —> new ideas are created very often and easily
Questions
- what is the key learning after the flights so far with respect to the coaxial helicopter design with the big rotors and the swashplate like actuation?
- What system was used to get global coordinates in between landings to draw the map in the video?
