Planning

  • exports are running with jerry
  • vidit has a clear action plan for PCB development: QA, ordering, integration tests
  • Valentin also has a clear action plan with deliverables
  • Hasan: clear action plan: working on mission management and parameter system for the drone.

ok with regards to jerry:

  • I want to launch the export process with nature exports and with the quality check features that we have implemented so far, this also allows to test if those quality checks do what they are supposed to do.
  • and to have the export farm running again and producing exports also tests the project for what it actually needs to deliver at the end. So this is kind of an integration test. But yeah agreed with the simulator project.

Hasan:

  • Yes if you want to do that informally that works for me, but I think we should inform the entire team about the project. As an update. Its motivating and adds pressure. Meaning it pushes us to get a first version out and running.
  • Yes I agree that Hasan needs to understand the business level requirements. But I disagree that he cannot follow a clear action plan. E.g. with chirp this has worked well. He showed an inital design, we discussed it, changed the architecture and then he implemented it pretty much how we discussed it.

Valentin:

  • Sounds good. I am in the office next week as well.
  • I wanted to define clear deliverables with him and let him work towards them. Basically the way we discussed yesterday: 1. understand the project, the tooling and the theory (your briefing will complete this I think). 2. update the mujoco simulator to simulate the S-rod drone (and verify/update the models with the test stand as discussed this morning) 3. Develop the factory method based classes that control that drone in the simulator with collective and then cyclic later on. 4. Translate to real drone flight.
