I've done (almost) everything I was told and produced roughly 9-10k lines of code in about 7 months (first two months I've spent on ROS environment and existing code if you remember) + I've created a new image + created a cross-compilation system + made some side products like gnss base station and RTK tests etc. + documented most of my work.My manager thinks I've done the hard part (which for him is the image and the drivers) and as far as I see, he overlooks all the other works I've done.Maybe I haven't done as okay of a job as I think. I don't know in either case I think my decision is the best for both parties.
