Good Morning everybody and welcome aboard the Old Tom. Our captain today is Captain Ray, let's give him a round of applause. Please follow any instructions he may have, they are for you own safety and comfort. Other staff on the boat today is Julie and me.
This is a no shoes, no smoking boat. We have a dry area at the front of the boat for anything you wish to keep dry. We have a cooler with drinking water; please make sure to stay hydrated. We also have spare equipment, spare weights, an emergency assistance plan, a first aid kit and an oxygen kit. If you need any of that, please let any member of staff know.
Please remain seated while the boat is moving and keep your weights and fins under your seat. When we get to the dive site, wait until the boat is tied up, the engine is turned off and the captain says it's ok to get on the water.
Entrance is a giant stride from the back of the boat or a back roll from the side (no back roll from the Tristan or Fishfinder). During your dive, maintain good buoyancy and don't touch or collect anything. If you hear the engine rewing for 30 seconds or more, this is the emergency recall so please safely ascend to the surface with your group.
On your way back to the boat, don't wait right behind a diver climbing up, don't take your fins off until you are holding on to the ladder and keep your regulator and mask in place: if you fall back on the water you can still see and you can still breathe.
Last but not least, please don't pee on your wetsuit!
We have about 20 minutes until reaching our dive site. Thank you for your attention, let's have a good time!

Please remain seated while he is parking the boat so he can see what he is doing. Let's also wait until the boat is tied up both front and back before exiting
There is 2 white bleach rinse bins, please rinse the gear there first and then on the tiles rinse bins.
Please make sure you have dried and replaced your dust caps before rinsing your regulators and that your remove all personal items from the boat. Be sure to log your dive with your diveraster or guide.
